Jigsaw Technique’s Disadvantages
The jigsaw technique has its disadvantages:
1. It takes a long time to train students for the task of assigning them to groups. However, one leader among their members dominates in a group that fails. They cannot work together in a group if they cannot do so.
2. It takes time to create a heterogeneous group in their abilities. One student acts as the leader and is responsible for fair participation and spreading it evenly.
